We are seeking a compassionate Veterinary Surgeon to join our established practice in Pretoria. Your duties will include performing medical examinations, diagnosing health problems, conducting surgeries, and advising pet owners on best practices for animal care. Responsibilities

• Evaluate pets for health issues and develop treatment plans.
• Conduct surgery and manage recovery.
• Deliver quality care in a supportive environment.
• Keep current with the latest veterinary trends.
• Educate clients about health care for their pets.
• Perform various diagnostic tests when necessary.
• Document patient treatment history thoroughly.
• Advise clients on nutritional and preventative care.
• Respond to emergencies and critical situations promptly.
• Participate in training sessions and workshops.

Requirements

Education

• BSc in Veterinary Science
• Postgraduate qualifications will be advantageous

Experience

• 2+ years in a veterinary clinic setting

Certifications

• Certificate in Animal Behaviour

• English: Fluent
