We are seeking a detail-oriented Civil Project Engineer to join our Johannesburg team. The successful candidate will design and oversee a variety of civil engineering projects, ensuring they meet technical specifications and safety regulations. Strong communication skills are essential for collaboration with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies.

Responsibilities

• Direct project teams on civil engineering projects.
• Perform engineering calculations and assessments.
• Coordinate project resources including materials and personnel.
• Ensure timely project completion, within budget constraints.
• Lead risk assessment and mitigation strategies.
• Participate in public presentations and project meetings.
• Collaborate closely with project managers and other engineers.
• Conduct feasibility studies and environmental assessments.
• Assist in compliance auditing and report preparation.
• Utilize project management software to track progress.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
• Master's degree in Civil Engineering is advantageous

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in leading civil projects
