In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional dental care to our diverse patient base. Responsibilities

• Evaluate the dental condition of patients by performing examinations.
• Utilize advanced dental technologies and procedures to improve patient outcomes.
• Guide dental assistants in preparing patients for procedures.
• Consult with other healthcare professionals when necessary.
• Manage inventory of dental supplies and tools.
• Promote a positive patient experience through effective communication.
• Analyze dental radiographs to aid in diagnosis.
• Participate in quality assurance and improvement initiatives.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) or equivalent
• Master's degree in Dental Surgery is a plus

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in a dental practice setting

• Oral surgery

Certifications

• HPCSA Registration
• Basic Life Support Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Basic

Advantageous

• Experience in public health dentistry: Knowledge of community oral health practices is a plus.
• Board certifications: Board certifications in pediatric dentistry or geriatric dentistry are advantageous.
