We are seeking a dedicated Cardiac Nurse to join our team at HealthCare Group. The ideal candidate will have a passion for patient care and a strong focus on cardiac health. You will be responsible for providing exceptional clinical care to patients with heart conditions, collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exemplary nursing care to cardiac patients within a multidisciplinary team environment.
• Regularly evaluate patient responses to interventions and adjust care plans accordingly.
• Educate patients about lifestyle changes to support cardiac health.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures regarding patient care.
• Participate in departmental meetings to discuss patient care strategies.
• Maintain accurate records of patient progress and treatment plans.
• Assist with discharge planning and follow-up care recommendations.
• Contribute to program development for cardiac care initiatives.
• Be proactive in promoting health and wellness in the community.
• Attend training and development sessions to enhance clinical skills.

Requirements

Education

• Registered Nurse qualification
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification

Experience

• At least 3 years of experience in cardiology or intensive care

• Patient Assessment
• Intervention Planning

Soft Skills

• Teamwork
• Adaptability

Certifications

• Basic Life Support (BLS)
• CCU or ICU Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Xhosa: Basic
