Join our dynamic team as a Web Accessibility Specialist, where you will be responsible for assessing and enhancing the accessibility of our web applications. Your role will involve developing strategies to meet accessibility standards and educating team members on best practices.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive accessibility audits on web applications.
• Provide guidance on implementing accessibility features in new web projects.
• Work with developers to ensure compliance during the coding phase.
• Develop accessibility training materials and resources for the team.
• Monitor and report on the accessibility progress of web projects.
• Engage with user feedback to improve accessibility continuously.
• Advise on the selection and use of accessible technology and tools.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or related field
• Additional certifications in web accessibility (e.g., CPACC, WAS) are preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in web development with a focus on accessibility

Technical Skills

• Understanding of WCAG guidelines
• HTML/CSS proficiency
• Experience with accessibility testing tools

Soft Skills

Certifications

• CPACC (Certified Professional in Accessibility Core Competencies)
• WAS (Web Accessibility Specialist)

Languages
