Job Description

We’re seeking an experienced Auditor to be part of our vibrant team in Johannesburg. You will be responsible for conducting audits and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and standards. Responsibilities

• Execute financial audits in accordance with standard procedures.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of financial systems and processes.
• Assist in the preparation of tax returns and compliance documentation.
• Train and mentor junior audit staff.
• Attend client meetings to discuss audit findings and recommendations.
• Assist management in strategic planning and decision-making.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or related discipline
• Master's degree is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in auditing or financial consultancy

• Data Analysis

Certifications

• Association of Chartered Accountants (ACCA) certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Intermediate

Advantageous

• Knowledge of IFRS and GAAP: Understanding of International Financial Reporting Standards and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
• Previous experience in a consulting firm: Experience in a consulting capacity would be advantageous.
