Job Description

As a Structural Engineer at our Port Elizabeth office, you will be at the forefront of our construction projects, responsible for designing structural systems and ensuring their integrity and safety. Your role will involve collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, conducting site inspections, and overseeing construction processes. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of civil engineering principles and practices, along with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Lead the structural design process from concept to completion.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and act as the primary point of contact.
• Analyze and resolve structural issues during construction.
• Prepare and present project progress reports to senior management.
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in structural engineering.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
• Master's degree in Structural Engineering preferred

Experience

• 7+ years of work experience in structural engineering projects

• Structural Design Software

Certifications

• CEng
• AIQS Certified Quantity Surveyor

Languages

• English: Fluent
