We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team in Port Elizabeth. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical design and analysis, with experience in various engineering projects. You will be involved in the development of innovative solutions to meet client specifications, ensuring quality and compliance with industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement design specifications and standards.
• Utilize software tools for design optimization.
• Coordinate with suppliers and contractors to meet project needs.
• Analyze production processes to identify areas for improvement.
• Prepare and present project updates to stakeholders.
• Train junior engineers and interns as needed.
• Ensure technical feasibility of designs and projects.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives within the engineering team.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred

Experience

• 5 years of relevant experience in mechanical engineering or related fields
