We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Environmental Scientist to join our team in Cape Town. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting environmental assessments, researching ecological impacts, and developing strategies for sustainable management. Ideal candidates will possess a strong foundation in environmental science, regulatory compliance, and project management.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate the ecological impact of proposed projects.
• Engage with government and regulatory bodies.
• Lead workshops and training sessions on environmental practices.
• Conduct audits on environmental management systems.
• Participate in cross-functional project teams.
• Support the implementation of ISO standards for environmental management.
• Facilitate stakeholder meetings to discuss environmental issues.
• Research emerging environmental trends and technologies.

Requirements

Education

• Degree in Environmental Science or related field
• Postgraduate qualifications in Environmental Management are an advantage

Experience

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in environmental consulting or project management
