Job Description

The Biologist will be responsible for researching and analyzing biological data, conducting experiments, and interpreting results for scientific purposes. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in biological sciences and experience in ecological research.

Responsibilities

  • Design and execute scientific experiments to collect data on ecological systems.
  • Evaluate biological data to inform conservation strategies.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to assess the impact of human activities on ecosystems.
  • Provide mentorship to junior staff and volunteers.
  • Create comprehensive reports to support funding applications.
  • Engage in community outreach to promote conservation initiatives.
  • Foster partnerships with academic institutions.
  • Stay updated on scientific advancements in the field of biology.
  • Lead field studies to gather empirical data.
  • Assist in the development of conservation policies and strategies.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Biology or related field
  • Master's degree in Environmental Science is an advantage
Experience
  • Minimum of 3 years working in ecological or biological research settings
