Join our team as a Transportation Planner in Johannesburg, where you will be responsible for planning and improving transportation systems in Gauteng. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in urban planning and a passion for sustainable transport solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement transportation policies and programs in alignment with regional goals.
• Work closely with environmental agencies to ensure compliance with sustainability standards.
• Participate in public hearings and community workshops to communicate project details and gather feedback.
• Foster partnerships with other organizations and agencies to improve integrated transportation systems.
• Provide training and mentorship to junior staff on best practices in transportation planning.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Urban Planning, Civil Engineering or a relevant field

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in a relevant role

Certifications

• Registered Professional Planner (RPP)
