Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients' medication regimens for efficacy and safety.
• Respond to medication inquiries from patients and healthcare staff.
• Engage in continuous professional development through training.
• Implement pharmacy policies and standard operating procedures.
• Ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards in pharmacy practice.
• Assist in the training and mentoring of pharmacy interns.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy
• PhD in Pharmacology is a plus

Experience

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in community pharmacy

• Medication Management

Certifications

• Basic Life Support (BLS)

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Conversational

• Experience in a clinical pharmacy setting: Background in providing pharmaceutical care in a clinical environment.
