Combiner Operator

Job Description

Join our team as a Combiner Operator. You will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the combiner machine, ensuring optimal production of agricultural goods. Ideal candidates will have hands-on experience and a strong understanding of production processes.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate the combiner machine for crop harvesting.
• Regularly inspect machinery to ensure it operates efficiently.
• Document production metrics and report to the Farm Manager.
• Identify and troubleshoot any mechanical problems.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the work area.
• Assist team members with their tasks as needed.
• Participate in training on new equipment as required.

Requirements

Education

• Grade 12 or equivalent
• Relevant technical qualification in agricultural machinery preferred

Experience

• 1-2 years' experience operating agricultural machinery

Technical Skills

• Good hand-eye coordination
• Quality control knowledge

Soft Skills

• Strong communication skills
• Ability to follow instructions

Languages

• English: Fluent

• Experience with quality control processes: Knowledge of quality control standards specific to agricultural production.
