QA Associate

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented QA Associate to join our quality assurance team in Durban. The successful candidate will ensure that software applications meet the highest standards of quality, functionality, and user experience. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues effectively.

Responsibilities

• Perform functional, regression, performance, and usability testing on software products.
• Ensure all test processes are followed and documented properly.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify testing needs.
• Review requirements and specifications to create effective test cases.
• Maintain effective communication regarding progress, issues, and concerns.
• Support continuous integration and deployment processes with quality checks.
• Participate in user acceptance testing and validate user feedback.
• Provide recommendations for process improvements based on test results.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering or related field
• Postgraduate qualification is advantageous

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in quality assurance or testing roles

• Quality Assurance Frameworks

Certifications

• Certified Software Tester (CSTE)

Languages

• English: Fluent
