Job Description

As an Allied Health Therapist, you will play a critical role in providing support and rehabilitation services to patients. Your responsibilities will encompass evaluation, intervention, and collaboration with our healthcare team to foster patient progress and recovery. Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor patients’ rehabilitation needs and milestones.
• Customize and apply therapy interventions based on assessment findings.
• Engage with a diverse health care team to optimize care delivery.
• Track and report on patient progress consistently.
• Educate patients and families about treatment goals and procedures.
• Protect patient confidentiality and maintain ethical practice.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy or Physiotherapy
• Master’s degree is preferable

Experience

• 3+ years of direct patient care experience

Technical Skills

• Therapeutic Techniques
• Patient Care Management

Soft Skills

• Team Leadership
• Problem-solving

Certifications

• Certification in First Aid and CPR
• Registered Therapeutic Specialist

Languages

• Afrikaans: Intermediate

Advantageous

• Training in alternative therapies: Knowledge of or certification in alternative and holistic approaches.
• Bilingual capabilities: Fluency in multiple languages is an advantage.
