General Engineer

Job Description

We're seeking a talented General Engineer to join our Bloemfontein office. You will be involved in various engineering projects, ensuring designs are practical, efficient, and compliant with regulations, while also collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.

Responsibilities

• Develop project engineering plans and schedules.
• Assist in the preparation of technical reports and documentation.
• Engage with clients and suppliers for technical discussions.
• Conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with project specifications.
• Utilize CAD software for design and drafting.
• Identify project risks and propose effective mitigation strategies.
• Participate in technical meetings and discussions with project teams.
• Provide technical support and advice on engineering matters.
• Ensure completion of project documentation before project closeout.
• Train and mentor junior engineering staff.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
• Professional Engineering registration is advantageous

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in engineering design and project management
