Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Technician to join our dynamic team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems. You will work closely with engineers to provide innovative solutions in various projects.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular maintenance on electrical equipment.
• Document electrical diagnostics and troubleshooting processes.
• Collaborate with engineering teams on project specifications.
• Ensure high standards of workmanship and safety.
• Provide feedback on project designs and equipment.
• Conduct risk assessments for electrical installations.
• Train junior staff in electrical systems maintenance.
• Support project management in meeting deadlines.
• Review schematics and blueprints for accuracy.
• Implement preventive maintenance strategies.
• Coordinate with suppliers for necessary equipment.
• Prepare technical reports for management review.

Requirements

Education

• National Diploma in Electrical Engineering
• Trade Test Certificate as an Electrician

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in electrical installation and maintenance
