Job Description

We are on the lookout for a detail-oriented Accountant to join our Cape Town office. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing tax returns, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. Responsibilities

• Oversee the preparation of monthly and annual financial reports.
• Develop and enhance financial policies and procedures.
• Liaise with clients regarding financial queries and reports.
• Monitor cash flow management and forecast future financial performance.
• Assist in implementing financial strategies that align with corporate goals.
• Prepare analysis reports for management and stakeholders.
• Facilitate communication between different departmental teams to achieve financial goals.
• Train and mentor junior accounting staff as required.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
• Master's degree or MBA is advantageous

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in a similar role

Certifications

• Registered Tax Practitioner (RTP)
• International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

• Familiarity with financial modeling: Ability to create financial models to support business decisions.
