Job Description

As a Tax Consultant at Leading Tax Solutions, you will be responsible for assisting clients with their tax-related inquiries, preparing tax returns, and ensuring compliance with local tax laws. You will work closely with businesses to develop tax strategies that minimize liabilities and maximize profitability.

Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive tax plans tailored to client needs.
• Maintain accurate records of tax compliance activities.
• Conduct audits to assess client adherence to tax laws.
• Advocate for clients in tax disputes with authorities.
• Monitor tax deadlines to ensure timely compliance.
• Review and approve tax filings prepared by junior staff.
• Advise clients on optimizing their tax positions.
• Foster long-term relationships with clients to encourage retention.
• Participate in continuous professional education and development.
• Collaborate with external auditors regarding tax-related inquiries.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business Administration
• Master's degree in Taxation is an advantage

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in a tax consultancy role

Technical Skills

• Tax Law
• Tax Software Proficiency

Soft Skills

• Negotiation
• Client Management

Certifications

• Chartered Accountant (CA)
• Registered Tax Practitioner (RTP)

Languages

• English: Fluent

• Knowledge of VAT and its applications: Experience in handling VAT-related matters.
