As a Mechanical Engineer in our Durban office, you will play a crucial role in the design and implementation of engineering solutions. We are looking for candidates with experience in both individual and collaborative project settings, who can handle complex challenges with creativity and technical expertise.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement mechanical design improvements.
• Analyze feedback from clients to improve design solutions.
• Maintain communication with project stakeholders.
• Supervise junior engineers and provide mentorship.
• Conduct training sessions on best engineering practices.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
• Professional Engineering registration is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of relevant industry experience

• Mechanical Design Analysis

• Time Management

Certifications

• Certified Manufacturing Engineer (CMfgE)
• Six Sigma Green Belt

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Basic

Advantageous

• Experience in automotive or aerospace industries: Relevant experience in highly regulated engineering environments.
• Skilled in Finite Element Analysis (FEA): Ability to use FEA software for validation and optimization.
