Job Description

We're on the lookout for a skilled Cloud Solutions Architect to join our team in Cape Town. In this role, you'll design and implement cloud solutions, ensuring they are scalable, secure, and tailored to meet our clients' diverse needs. You'll collaborate closely with various teams, leveraging your deep understanding of cloud architecture and DevOps practices.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable cloud architectures using AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to automate deployment processes.
• Monitor cloud infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and security.
• Provide technical guidance and support to development teams.
• Evaluate and recommend new cloud technologies and tools.
• Perform cost optimization on existing cloud services.
• Ensure compliance with best practices in security and data protection.
• Document cloud architecture and processes for knowledge sharing.
• Engage with clients to understand their cloud needs and propose tailored solutions.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in a related field is preferred

Experience

• 7+ years of experience in cloud solutions and architecture

Technical Skills

• GCP
• Docker

Certifications

• Certified Kubernetes Administrator
• Certified DevOps Engineer

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with CI/CD tools: Familiarity with tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies: Experience working in Agile development environments.
