Cloud Solutions Architect

Job Description

We're on the lookout for a skilled Cloud Solutions Architect to join our team in Cape Town. In this role, you'll design and implement cloud solutions, ensuring they are scalable, secure, and tailored to meet our clients' diverse needs. You'll collaborate closely with various teams, leveraging your deep understanding of cloud architecture and DevOps practices.

Responsibilities

• Architect and lead cloud infrastructure projects from conception to completion.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines to enhance development workflows.
• Work with teams to troubleshoot cloud-related issues and performance bottlenecks.
• Conduct regular cloud health checks and implement enhancements.
• Build and maintain scripts for automation of cloud services.
• Ensure seamless integration of cloud platforms with on-premises systems.
• Promote the adoption of cloud solutions across various departments.
• Lead workshops and training sessions on cloud technologies.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in a related field is preferred

Experience

• 7+ years of experience in cloud solutions and architecture

Certifications

• Certified Kubernetes Administrator
• Certified DevOps Engineer

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with Serverless architectures: Hands-on experience with AWS Lambda or Azure Functions.
• Scripting skills in Python or Bash: Proficiency in scripting for automation and cloud management.
