As a Nurse at Healthcare Services Group in Durban, you will be an integral part of our healthcare team. Your responsibilities will include providing excellent nursing care to patients, educating families on health management, and participating in community health initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate interdepartmental communication to ensure cohesive patient care.
• Participate in community health education programs.
• Oversee the care provided by nursing assistants and other staff.
• Document all patient interactions and care procedures in compliance with hospital policies.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in Nursing

Experience

• At least 3 years of nursing experience preferred

Technical Skills

• Medication Administration
• Wound Care

Soft Skills

• Teamwork
• Time Management

Certifications

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Infection Control Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Conversational

Advantageous

• Pediatric Nursing Experience: Experience working with children in a healthcare setting.
• Fluency in additional languages: Ability to communicate in different languages is a great advantage.
