Health Technologist and Technician

Job Description

As a Health Technologist and Technician, you will play a critical role in supporting surgical procedures. You will be responsible for maintaining a sterile environment and ensuring all equipment is ready for use.

Responsibilities

• Support the surgical team in all aspects of care during operations.
• Document all relevant patient information accurately and timely.
• Assist in inventory management of surgical supplies.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth operations.
• Respond promptly to the needs of the surgical team and patients.
• Educate patients on pre- and post-operative care.
• Participate in quality assurance and improvement initiatives.
• Keep abreast of best practices in surgical technology.
• Help train junior staff members on surgical procedures.
• Conduct regular checks of equipment for functionality.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in Surgical Technology or related field
• Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Management is a plus

Experience

• At least 3 years of experience in surgical technology.

Languages

• English: Fluent
