As a Probation Officer, you will be responsible for managing cases of individuals on probation. Your primary focus will be to ensure compliance with probation terms, develop tailored plans, and support offenders in their rehabilitation journey.
Responsibilities
Conduct risk assessments for individuals under probation.
Create individualized rehabilitation plans in collaboration with offenders.
Supervise and provide support to individuals on probation.
Coordinate with various service providers for wrap-around support.
Document all interactions and updates in case management software.
Ensure compliance with all legal and administrative requirements.
Participate in professional development and training opportunities.
Requirements
Education
Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice or related field
Master's degree in Criminal Justice is advantageous
Experience
Minimum of 2 years of experience in probation or parole supervision
