Construction Manager

Job Description

We're on the lookout for an expert Construction Manager for our projects in Durban. You will coordinate and supervise construction teams, manage budgets, and liaise with clients to deliver outstanding results.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of construction projects to ensure timely delivery.
• Coordinate the efforts of team members and third-party contractors.
• Review and interpret drawings and specifications for construction projects.
• Ensure that all work meets safety regulations and building codes.
• Provide leadership and guidance to junior staff.
• Direct the selection of contractors and subcontractors.
• Monitor and control project expenses, adjusting as needed.
• Prepare detailed reports on construction progress and costs.
• Identify and address challenges promptly.
• Continuously seek improvement in process and methodologies.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Certification in Construction Management is preferred

Experience

• 5 years of project management experience in the construction field
