Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Surveyor who can navigate complex surveying challenges in Bloemfontein. Your role will encompass coordinating with architects and engineers to determine and implement client requirements while adhering to all local regulations. Your ability to communicate findings and suggestions effectively will be essential to your success in this pivotal role.

Responsibilities

• Determine property boundaries and prepare land surveys using various techniques.
• Interpret survey data and prepare survey reports for stakeholders.
• Engage with landowners and contractors to assess project requirements.
• Oversee the operation of surveying tools and equipment.
• Ensure quality control on all surveying processes and results.
• Plan activities on-site and coordinate with the field team for execution.
• Conduct regular site visits for progress assessments.
• Ensure all documentation is accurate and comprehensive.
• Manage conflicts and solve problems relating to surveying matters.
• Foster positive relationships with project teams to ensure high-quality outcomes.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Surveying, Engineering, or related field

Experience

• Experience in managing surveying teams is preferred.
