Responsibilities

  • Welcome guests with a friendly attitude and a smile.
  • Ensure check-in and check-out procedures are completed seamlessly.
  • Manage and resolve guest complaints efficiently.
  • Provide detailed information about hotel amenities and local attractions.
  • Assist guests with travel arrangements and reservations.
  • Oversee the cleanliness and organization of the front desk area.
  • Facilitate guest requests involving luggage and transport.
  • Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to address guest needs.
  • Maintain confidentiality regarding guest information.
  • Stay updated on hotel services and local events.

Requirements

Education
  • Customer service training or certification
Experience
  • 2+ years of experience in a similar hospitality role.

Languages
  • English: Fluent
  • Afrikaans: Fluent

Advantageous

  • Fluency in additional languages: Knowledge of other languages like Italian, French, or German is a plus.
