Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Restaurant Manager to oversee our operations in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will be passionate about the food and hospitality industry, with a proven track record of enhancing customer satisfaction and driving operational success.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement operational policies and procedures.
  • Supervise and manage restaurant staff to ensure effective operations.
  • Handle customer complaints and queries in a professional manner.
  • Plan and host special events to promote the restaurant.
  • Assist in menu planning and food presentation.
  • Conduct market research to understand customer preferences.
  • Lead staff meetings to discuss operational goals and issues.
  • Ensure the restaurant meets all licensing and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or equivalent
  • Previous management training is preferred
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in the hospitality or restaurant industry
