We are seeking a passionate Civil Engineer to join our team in Pretoria. The ideal candidate will have experience in both design and project management, contributing to a variety of infrastructure projects that enhance community development and sustainability.

Responsibilities

• Lead project teams ensuring adherence to engineering standards and best practices.
• Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Ensure all projects comply with safety and sustainability regulations.
• Provide training and mentorship to junior engineers and interns.
• Manage contractual agreements and liaise with contractors and suppliers.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Civil Engineering is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of relevant experience in infrastructure projects

Technical Skills

• Civil 3D
• Environmental Engineering Principles

• Critical Thinking
• Negotiation

Certifications

• Green Building Council Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with GIS Software: Knowledge of Geographic Information Systems for mapping and analysis.
• Familiarity with Building Codes: Understanding of local and national building regulations is beneficial.
