UX Designer

Job Description

We are seeking a creative UX Designer to join our Johannesburg-based team. The ideal candidate possesses a strong foundation in user-centered design principles and is passionate about delivering exceptional user experiences. You will collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and other designers to create intuitive and engaging interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Design interactive and engaging user experiences for web and mobile applications.
• Translate conceptual ideas into visually compelling and functional designs.
• Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with product stakeholders.
• Conduct A/B testing to gauge design effectiveness.
• Document design processes and create style guides.
• Mentor junior designers and help develop their skills.
• Present design concepts and rationale to stakeholders.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or related field
• Master's degree in UX Design preferred

Experience

• 4+ years of hands-on experience in UX/UI design

Technical Skills

• Wireframing and prototyping

Certifications

• UX Design Certification
• Figma Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
