Job Description

We are seeking a talented Telecommunications Technician to join our dynamic team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in installing, maintaining, and repairing telecommunication systems. You will work closely with engineers and other technicians to troubleshoot issues and ensure efficient operations.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve technical issues with telecommunication devices.
• Perform routine checks and quality assurance for network performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on projects and system improvements.
• Implement network security measures to protect data integrity.
• Participate in ongoing education and training programs.
• Maintain inventory of equipment and supplies in the workshop.

Requirements

Education

• National Diploma in Electrical Engineering or Telecommunications
• Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications is advantageous

Experience

• 3-5 years of practical experience in telecommunications technician role
