As a Network Engineer in Midrand, you'll be at the forefront of our network enhancements. We need you to manage and configure our network systems, ensuring top-notch performance and supporting our growth strategy amidst evolving technologies.

Responsibilities

• Architect and deploy complex networking solutions tailored to business needs.
• Evaluate and integrate new technologies to enhance network capabilities.
• Conduct regular network audits to identify and rectify vulnerabilities.
• Collaborate with vendors for procurement and installation of network devices.
• Prepare budget estimates for network projects and infrastructure upgrades.
• Lead and mentor junior network staff.

Requirements

Education

• Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
• Relevant networking certifications

Experience

• 5+ years in network architecture and design

Technical Skills

• Advanced Cisco Networking
• Cloud Networking
• Network Performance Tuning

• Analytical Thinking

Certifications

• Cisco Certified Design Associate (CCDA)

Languages

• English: Fluent

• Knowledge of IPv6 migration strategies: Understanding of best practices for transitioning to IPv6.
