Pharmacist

Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Pharmacist to join our Johannesburg team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for dispensing medications, providing patient counseling, and ensuring compliance with health regulations. Strong communication skills and a passion for patient care are essential.

Responsibilities

• Oversee pharmacy staff and assist with training new employees.
• Manage the scheduling of pharmacy operations to enhance patient service.
• Participate in inventory management and pharmacy audits.
• Provide input on new product lines and services to enhance community health.
• Ensure compliance with pharmacy laws and regulations.
• Handle patient complaints and inquiries in a professional manner.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or equivalent
• Experience with managed care pharmacy practices is advantageous

Experience

• 3+ years of experience preferred in a hospital or clinical pharmacy setting

Certifications

• Certified Clinical Pharmacist (CCP)
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification
