We are on the lookout for a skilled Chemical Engineer based in Cape Town to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing chemical processes. Responsibilities

  • Lead projects from conception to execution ensuring all deadlines are met.
  • Perform simulations and modelling of chemical processes.
  • Innovate and implement solutions that improve product quality.
  • Engage with clients to understand their needs and expectations.
  • Ensure that all equipment is maintained and calibrated correctly.
  • Report on project status and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate with production teams to align operations with process requirements.
  • Conduct training and safety seminars for team members.
  • Utilize software tools for process simulations and data analysis.
  • Review and update standard operating procedures as needed.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or a similar discipline
  • PhD in Chemical Engineering is preferable

  • 5+ years in process optimization or related experience
