Accountant

Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Accountant to join our finance team in Cape Town. In this role, you will manage financial reporting, ensure compliance with local regulations, and support budgeting processes.

Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate and timely processing of all financial transactions.
• Prepare management accounts and financial reports.
• Contribute to financial projections and strategic planning.
• Ensure that all accounting records are maintained in accordance with policy.
• Advise on financial procedures and policies.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• MBA in Finance is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in a similar role

• Financial Analysis
• QuickBooks

Certifications

• ACCA certification
• CIMA certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in a technology company: Experience working within the tech sector or startups is a plus.
