Job Description

We are on the lookout for a passionate Environmental Engineer in Durban who will contribute to various environmental projects. Your responsibilities will include conducting environmental assessments, designing solutions to minimize impact, and working with stakeholders to promote sustainable practices within the community.

Responsibilities

  • Perform environmental impact assessments for projects.
  • Oversee the execution of environmental management programs.
  • Monitor environmental regulations and standards compliance.
  • Engage with community members and stakeholders on project impacts.
  • Provide guidance on waste management and pollution control.
  • Design and implement environmental remediation strategies.
  • Analyze and interpret data related to environmental issues.
  • Prepare detailed project documentation and reports.
  • Assist in training and awareness sessions on environmental practices.
  • Facilitate workshops on sustainability and environmental policies.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or Engineering
  • Postgraduate qualifications are an advantage

  • 3-5 years of relevant work experience
