UX/UI Designer

Job Description

We are on the hunt for a creative and detail-oriented UX/UI Designer to join our team in Port Elizabeth. You will work closely with our product and development teams to create user-centric designs that enhance our digital products. Your expertise in user experience research, wireframing, and prototyping will be essential in delivering exceptional designs that meet our users' needs.

Responsibilities

• Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with product managers.
• Illustrate design ideas using storyboards, process flows, and sitemaps.
• Conduct workshops to gather feedback from users and stakeholders.
• Provide advice and guidance on design solutions to other team members.
• Continuously improve the effectiveness of product user experiences.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or similar field

Experience

• Experience working within an Agile environment is preferred

Technical Skills

• Adobe XD

Soft Skills

• Empathy

Certifications

• Google UX Design Professional Certificate

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in E-commerce platforms: Familiarity with design practices specific to e-commerce.
• Knowledge of accessibility standards: Understanding of web accessibility guidelines (WCAG).
