Job Description

As a Veterinary Surgeon at our Animal Health Care Facility, you'll play a crucial role in animal healthcare. You will diagnose and treat animal diseases, carry out surgical procedures, and contribute to our mission of providing excellent veterinary services to the community. We're looking for someone who is dedicated, knowledgeable, and compassionate.

Responsibilities

  • Administer vaccinations and medications as required.
  • Assess and manage chronic conditions to improve patient outcomes.
  • Engage in client education regarding nutrition and general care.
  • Maintain inventory and ensure adequate supplies of medical equipment.
  • Provide assistance in managing case loads with practice staff.
  • Participate in veterinary conferences and continued education.
  • Advocate for animal welfare and ethical practices.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor of Veterinary Science (BVSc)
  • Post-graduate qualification in Veterinary Surgery is advantageous.
Experience
  • At least 5 years of experience in a veterinary clinic.
