Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and proactive Logistics Coordinator to oversee the end-to-end management of our logistics operations in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will be skilled in coordinating transport activities, managing inventories, and liaising with suppliers and customers to ensure timely deliveries and optimal service levels.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate the shipment of goods and manage supply chain logistics.
• Ensure timely and accurate tracking of shipments from origin to destination.
• Assist in developing logistics budgets and controlling operational costs.
• Review and optimize transportation routes to improve efficiency.
• Implement best practices to reduce costs and enhance service quality.
• Liaise with warehouse staff to ensure efficient order fulfilment.
• Support the development of logistics policies and procedures.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.

Requirements

Education

• National Diploma in Logistics or Supply Chain Management
• Bachelor's degree in Logistics is a plus

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in logistics or supply chain roles
