Job Description

We are seeking a Public Health Specialist to lead initiatives aimed at improving community health outcomes. The successful candidate will play a vital role in planning and implementing health programs, advocating for public health policies, and collaborating with health organizations to address the needs of the community.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement public health initiatives and programs.
• Conduct community health assessments to identify needs and issues.
• Collaborate with health professionals and organizations at local and national levels.
• Advocate for policy changes to support public health goals.
• Analyze health data and trends to inform decision-making.
• Educate the community about health promotion strategies.
• Prepare reports and presentations on public health findings.
• Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness and outcomes.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or a related field
• Master's degree in Public Health or Social Work is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in community health or public health policymaking
