Responsibilities

• Conduct risk assessments by analyzing the information provided in insurance applications.
• Communicate underwriting decisions to agents and clients clearly and effectively.
• Help develop underwriting manuals and training materials for new employees.
• Participate in industry training to continually enhance underwriting skills.
• Collaborate with claims and actuarial teams to understand loss trends and adjust underwriting accordingly.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field
• Postgraduate qualifications are advantageous

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in the insurance underwriting domain

• AIU (Associate in Underwriting)
