Gas Compressor and Gas Pumping Station Operator

Job Description

As a Gas Compressor and Gas Pumping Station Operator, you will be responsible for filling compressed gas cylinders and maintaining operational integrity in accordance with safety protocols. You will operate filling equipment and monitor processes to ensure compliance with industry regulations.

Responsibilities

• Monitor gas filling operations for compliance with safety standards.
• Perform routine maintenance on filling machines and equipment.
• Train new operators on safety and operational procedures.
• Ensure the cleanliness of the filling area and compliance with hygiene standards.
• Document operational data for management reporting.
• Work together with the logistics team to manage gas deliveries.
• Assist with environmental monitoring and compliance reporting.
• Evaluate equipment performance and suggest improvements.
• Participate in technical meetings to discuss operational enhancements.
• Maintain knowledge of industry trends and safety regulations.

Requirements

Education

• Grade 12 or equivalent
• Relevant certifications in safety or gas handling are advantageous

Experience

• At least 2 years' experience in a similar role working with compressed gases.
