Accountant

Job Description

We are seeking a diligent Accountant to join our finance department in Cape Town. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing tax returns, and ensuring compliance with regulations. Responsibilities

• Review financial data and prepare reports for management.
• Ensure accurate and timely accounting of transactions.
• Monitor and report financial discrepancies.
• Prepare cash flow forecasts and assist in cash management.
• Actively participate in financial strategy planning.
• Implement financial systems and processes for efficiency.
• Serve as a point of contact for financial inquiries from other departments.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
• Master’s degree preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of relevant accounting experience

• Financial Reporting
• Taxation

Certifications

• ACCA Qualified
• Financial Risk Manager (FRM)

Languages

• English: Fluent
