Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Social Worker to join our team in Durban. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of social issues and a passion for helping others. Responsibilities

• Evaluate clients' social, emotional, and economic needs.
• Formulate and execute treatment plans based on assessments.
• Provide direct services to clients, including counseling and crisis intervention.
• Coordinate with healthcare providers and community resources.
• Foster community partnerships to enhance service delivery.
• Document case notes and maintain confidentiality.
• Participate in continuous education and practice improvement initiatives.
• Contribute to program evaluation and quality assurance activities.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work or similar
• Master's degree in Social Work is an advantage

Experience

• 2-4 years of experience in the social services sector

Certifications

• Registered Social Worker (RSW)
• Trauma-informed Care certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Xhosa: Conversational
