Job Description

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists in managing patient medication therapy.
• Engage in community outreach to promote health awareness.
• Support inventory management and medication safety protocols.
• Document patient interactions and medication dispensed.
• Contribute to pharmacy quality assurance processes.

Requirements

Education

• Pharmacy diploma or equivalent qualification
• Further studies in pharmacy-related fields are a plus

Experience

• 1-2 years of retail pharmacy experience

Technical Skills

• Pharmaceutical Knowledge
• Computer Proficiency

Soft Skills

• Effective Communication
• Problem-solving

Certifications

• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification

Languages

• Zulu: Conversational
• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Bilingual in English and Afrikaans: Ability to communicate effectively in both languages is a plus.
• Prior experience with inventory management systems: Experience managing medication inventories effectively.
