Job Description

We are looking for skilled Stationary Engineers and Boiler Operators to operate and maintain pumps efficiently. The ideal candidate will ensure optimal performance and reliability of our water management systems.

Responsibilities

• Ensure optimal function of pumps and water supply systems.
• Conduct checks and monitoring of water supply equipment.
• Perform troubleshooting and problem-solving on equipment issues.
• Provide training and guidance to junior operators when needed.
• Maintain an inventory of equipment and necessary supplies.
• Coordinate with other teams to ensure integrated operations.

Requirements

Education

• Matric Certificate or equivalent

Experience

• 2-4 years experience operating water pumps

Technical Skills

• Hydraulic Systems Knowledge
• Mechanical Maintenance

Soft Skills

• Strong Communication
• Reliability

Certifications

• Water Safety Training Certificate

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Conversational

Advantageous

• Diesel Engine Maintenance Experience: Experience with maintenance and operation of diesel engines used in water pumping.
