Job Description

As a Psychologist at our Johannesburg office, you'll engage with clients facing various psychological challenges. Your role will encompass individual and group therapy sessions, assessments, and collaboration with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive mental health care.

Responsibilities

  • Administer and interpret psychological tests.
  • Provide individualised therapy to address client concerns.
  • Develop comprehensive treatment plans based on assessments.
  • Ensure confidentiality and ethical treatment of all clients.
  • Collaborate in multidisciplinary team meetings.
  • Educate clients and families about mental health resources.
  • Conduct workshops and training sessions as needed.
  • Engage in research activities to advance psychological practices.

Requirements

Education
  • Doctorate in Psychology or relevant discipline
  • Clinical registration with HPCSA required
Experience
  • 4+ years of post-registration experience
