Responsibilities

• Lead the development of design concepts, melding client visions with practical implementation.
• Analyze site conditions and client needs to recommend effective design solutions.
• Coordinate with environmental consultants to ensure sustainability in project design.
• Prepare for and attend design review meetings with local authorities and stakeholders.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related field
• Master's degree preferred

Experience

• Minimum 5 years of experience in architecture

Technical Skills

• AutoCAD
• BIM Software

Soft Skills

• Creativity
• Communication

Certifications

• South African Council for the Architectural Profession (SACAP) registration

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in sustainable design practices: Knowledge of eco-friendly materials and methods for green building.
• Proficiency in 3D modelling software: Experience with 3D rendering tools like SketchUp or Revit.
