Job Description

As an Architect at Design Works Ltd, you will have the opportunity to showcase your creativity and technical skills. Your responsibilities will include developing architectural designs and overseeing the construction process, ensuring projects align with both client expectations and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of junior architects and interns, providing guidance and mentorship.
• Incorporate sustainable practices into design projects.
• Document project phases and create reports for management review.
• Review and approve contractor submittals and shop drawings.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Foster positive relationships with clients and stakeholders throughout project life cycles.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture
• Master's degree in Urban Design or similar is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in architecture with a portfolio of completed projects

Technical Skills

• BIM Software
• Presentation Skills

Soft Skills

• Attention to Detail
• Team Leadership

Certifications

• Certified Interior Designer
• Project Management Professional (PMP)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Familiarity with urban planning principles: Understanding of the relationship between architecture and urban environments.
• Experience in community engagement: Ability to effectively communicate and gain input from community stakeholders on projects.
