Job Description

We are seeking a proactive Industrial Engineer to join our Cape Town team. In this role, you'll be responsible for improving manufacturing processes, reducing waste, and ensuring quality control. The ideal candidate will possess a strong analytical mindset and an eagerness to implement innovative solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects aimed at process optimization and waste reduction.
• Facilitate workshops to encourage team involvement in improvement projects.
• Create and present reports on operational performance metrics.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Support the development of new products through engineering expertise.
• Act as a liaison between engineering and production teams.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering
• Master's degree preferred

Experience

• 5 years of experience in a relevant engineering role

Technical Skills

• Six Sigma
• AutoCAD

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving
• Communication

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of CAD Software: Experience using CAD software for engineering projects.
• Familiarity with Quality Management Systems: Understanding of ISO standards and quality management principles.
